Hi, I’m Sharon Reed! 

I am originally from New Orleans, but I have called Austin home since 2001. I’ve been a elementary and preschool teacher, a waitress, a Girl Scout Leader, and currently I work for A.I.S.D. as a substitute elementary teacher where I mainly work with children that have special needs.

Also, I am CPR and First Aid certified and recently became certified by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission just in case your soiree includes adult beverages.  Serving alcohol can be an important aspect of parties, (see previous mention of my birthplace New Orleans.)

I am also the parent of two fabulous adult children. My son Joe (23) is a chef and my daughter Liz (21) is a senior at UT. My husband, David, and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary by taking the trip of a lifetime across the pond to England.

Throwing parties is one of my favorite pastimes and my guests always enjoy them. So, in 2004 I decided to start Partytime! But ten years later, after countless tea parties, party packages and bouncy house rentals it was time for a break… But guess what? I missed it and now I’m BACK!
